Well, Iron Man is like Batman, without a suit he is just man with a lot, I mean A LOT of money.
The movie was also similar to that of "Batman Begins." The movie takes some time to show how the super hero is born. When the super hero finally arises and does a deed movie ends. There were couple lines in the movie to expect Iron Man 2. Guess what...Iron Man 2 is ON~! Its coming 2010.. wow.. 2 years from now... Then again Batman Begins came out 2005 and now its sequel (The Dark Night) is coming 2008.
The movie, although I had to wait sometime to actually see Iron Man flying around, the story line was well done. Robert Downey Jr. did pretty good job in acting. I can't believe though Gwyneth Paltrow was just secretary and didn't even played much role in the movie. The movie had lot of funnies and thrills. Just wished that Iron Man did some more things before movie ended.
My score: 4.5 out of 5 - Very Entertaining and Must See Movie!!

Growing up watching Jet Li, Jackie Chan movies such as
Wong Fei Hong(Once Upon a Time in China) series (Li), The Bodyguard (Li), Drunken Master (Chan), Police Story (Chan),
and much more I always wondered what would happened
if both of them fight one another.
Although there wasn't a clear "winner" between Jet Li and
Jackie Chan, they both showed amazing kung-fu.
While watching, I regretted my stop taking
Kungfu( wu shu) class at my college. Although I may not
have become great, I'd still be in shape... sigh..
The movie had Jackie Chan style comedy. Through out the
whole movie, audience were laughing and "wow"ing.
Main character, Jason Tripitikas (Michael Angarano), finds a
special ancient relic which he must return into Monkey King in
ancient China. During his adventure he meets Jackie Chan and
Jet li from whom he learns kung fu.
I liked how each character had his own victories, which seemed
very reasonable. For example, although Jason learned Kungfu,
he didn't become super strong in just few days.
Sadly, Yifei Liu, didn't play much role in the movie as I hoped.
I wished she would throw more darts and do some special martial arts
like "Hair Grap(?)" by Li Bingbing, who played Witch.
I loved Yifei Liu in TV series "神鵰俠侶 (신조협려)" in 2006.
I guess that's why I expected more.. :)
Overall it was very entertaining movie.
My score: 4 out of 5 - Very Entertaining Movie!!

Wow.. Its really really good movie.
Info from Yahoo!: After multiple dirty bombs are detonated, spreading deadly toxic ash across Los Angeles, Brad inadvertently quarantines his wife, Lexi outside their new home by safely sealing himself inside. With the city under siege and Martial Law in effect, Brad and Lexi struggle to survive with little supplies.
Like the movie "Phone Booth," 90% of the location in this film is at one place, the house of the main character.
Unlike other "terrorist theme" movie, where you are following law enforcers to capture the bad guys, this movie gives you the "feeling" of victim of the incident. The story line is well written and has nice closure like "The Mist."
My score: 4.5 out of 5 - A Must Watch Movie.
Dustin, one of my best friends, said "The Orphanage" is a must see.
And he was right... it was really well made movie.
The movie reminded me "The Others" starring
Nicole Kidman. Similar plot. Family moves in to a house.
Child always finds out that house is "haunted". Wooo ~~
I remember screaming out loud at the movie theater
while watching "The Others." :)
The Orphanage, or aka El Orfanato, is a movie where a previous
orphan who was adopted when young returns to the orphanage
with her husband and adopted child. The movie starts to be become creepy as the child meets a new "invisible friend.."
The movie wasn't as scary as Japanese movie "The Ring", or
Hong Kong movie "The Eye", but its up there with "The Shine" and "The Mist"
The storyline was actually really good for a horror movie. No dull moment during the movie. Made me watch all the way till end making guess. But I think "The Others" did better in an area of "surprise." Still, the movie is great and I recommend
everyone to watch it.
My score: 4.5 out of 5 - A Must Watch Movie.
